School's out, but chalkboard art is definitely in!  Chalkboard paper table covering sets the stage for a playful, casual summer dinner.  Stocked in our shop in rolls of twenty-five feet, just roll it out, add chalk and watch the fun unfold!  Couldn't be simpler!DSCN0798No need for place cards!DSCN0804Let your guests in on the fun!  Be sure to tuck a piece of chalk into each place setting and watch the art in action.  As the wine pours, the doodling begins. DSCN0817Ta-dah!  Our guests expressed themselves during the meal with a bit of creative doodling and we have a little souvenir of the evening.  Hmmm… wondering how we might use this paper…DSCN0830

Paper crafting al fresco!

We couldn't believe our good luck on May Day to have an 80 degree evening for our first Crepe Paper Flower Class!  It seemed just perfect as we set up our paper flower-laden table in the breezeway outside the shop.  Our black chalkboard paper had just arrived {Kitchen Papers} so we used it to cover the tables and try out the accompanying white chalk {such fun!}.class 1 class 2    As our participants arrived, everyone seemed delighted to be spending this rare and lovely evening outdoors.  A little vodka-laced lemonade added extra cheer!class 3As the sun gave off its last glimmers, we all showed off our creative paper blossoms!

Quick DIY Kid's Classroom Valentines

Valentine's Day is quickly approaching, so we thought we'd share these easy DIY classroom valentines.  Your child will love helping you put together these unique treats and no one will ever know you did it the night before the classroom party!  All you need are a few essentials that can be picked up in our shop, as well as some scissors and a hole punch.  We've outlined the simple step by step process below.  Happy crafting!Valentines-Day-DIY1.  Scissors |  2.  Hole Punch  |  3.  Paper Delights Classroom Valentines - Pack can be found at Paper Delights  |  4.  Plastic Treat Bags - Included in Paper Delights Classroom Valentines - can be found at Paper Delights.  |  5.  A favorite Valentine's Day candy  |  6.  Ribbon - available at Paper Delights Step by Step Instructions:1.  Have your child fill out each valentine2.  Fill each plastic treat bag 1/4 of the way full with a few candies3.  Fold Valentine in half4.  Fold treat bag in half5.  Place folded valentine over folded treat bag and punch two holes at the top.  You should be punching the holes through the valentine and the treat bag at the same time.  This allows you to lace the ribbon through and it will all stay together.  See picture below for reference.6.
