Freshen up with Plants!
We are over the moon with houseplants! I think this long, gray northwest winter has really stoked our desire (need?) to bring the outdoors in. We're decorating our own homes with a variety of beautiful, fresh foliage so, of course we wanted to bring all kinds of gorgeous greenery into our shop! Choose among the huge variety of plants of all sizes. Pair a tiny plant with a pretty new pot for a perfect little hostess gift. Pop a larger plant into a basket for a nice contrast of texture. It's amazing how this simple touch can really give a fresh update to any decor!
Earth-friendly Back to School
"Back to School" is a great time for a re-set! While we have an administration that is actively dismantling environmental protections, this is a great time to commit to examining and reducing some of our wasteful habits!
We are happy to be bringing in an array of {stylish} reusable packaging options. Our customers have really been buying up the Bees' Wrap products! We just unpacked some fun new designs of LunchSkins bags - another great way to package sandwiches and snacks! Wash them (inside out) in the top rack of the dishwasher and use over and over again.

Join us for First Friday fun on August 2; 5 - 8:00 pm!
Burien "First Fridays" are truly becoming the festive summer stroll that was envisioned by it's creators! Join the fun from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 2 and listen to the music (B-Town Beat), view the art and enjoy the special events in each Burien business. We will be making paper flowers at Paper Delights and offering a refreshing summer cocktail! At 8:00 pm the shops will close and we'll all head down to the Town Square Park to watch the Burien Actors' Theater presentation of Shakespeare's "The Importance of Being Ernest". Don't miss out!
